WELCOME TO WOODHOUSE FAMILY CELLARS

Woodhouse Family Cellars arrived in Woodinville in December 2004, joining the neighborhood of thirty other winery greats. Upon first discovery of the winery, locals and tourists alike quickly realized that they were encountering a fresh and innovative concept that was anything but ordinary.

In The Beginning
In 1998, Tom Campbell, one of Washington's winemaker originals teamed up with his nephew, Bijal Shah. Their first label named Darighe is an exquisite Bordeaux-style blend that is considered the flagship of the collection. The second label, a hearty 100% Merlot called Maghee was followed by the Dussek Cabernet. The taste of these three labels traveled quickly, building a "cult wine" reputation resulting in many tasters clamoring to find more.

Kennedy Shah
Two years later, Bijal and his wife, Sinead, celebrated the birth of their daughter, Kennedy, which prompted the creation of their fourth wine label called Kennedy Shah.

This label includes seven different varietals: a Red Mountain merlot, a cabernet, a syrah, an orange muscat, a tempranillo, a petit verdot and a white picnic blend.

Kennedy's Kitchen

The next big adventure was the opening of our fabulous events space. This 1500 square-foot space of Woodhouse is the perfect host for a variety of elite events including receptions, corporate parties, charity functions, winemaker dinners and even wine-blending parties. The winery features a tasting bar, barrel room, organic garden and open seating area that welcomes up to 125 people. Did we also mention the kitchen donated graciously by Viking? It is appropriately called Kennedy's Kitchen of course!

The success of the five labels of Woodhouse Family Cellars and the breathtaking event venue of Kennedy's Kitchen has given the Woodhouse family the chance to prove that a delicious combination of wine and celebration can be accomplished. We invite you to join us in our inspiring experience.    more...
